MINUTES OF THE BYRON SHIRE COUNCIL Byron Shire Reserve Trust Committee HELD ON Thursday, 11 June 2015 COMMENCING AT 2.03PM AND CONCLUDING AT 2.25PM

The Mayor opened the meeting and acknowledged that the meeting is being held on Arakwal Country and that we pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend our respect to the Bundjalung clans whose lands and waters are part of the Shire.

Staff Reports - Sustainable Environment and Economy

	Report No. 4.1             Proposed Activity - Photography Workshop at Apex Park File No:                        I2015/426
	Moved: That the Reserve Trust grant a temporary licence, under section 108 of the Crown Lands Act for the purpose of an Exhibition, to Canon Australia for a photography workshop on Friday 3 July 2015 on Crown Reserve 82000 (Apex Park) subject to additional conditions: i)     that the workshop be advertised to the general public before or simultaneous to any other notification; and ii)    that the selection process for up to 20 attendees be made public, prior to selection.  (Dey/Woods) AMENDMENT
15-291	Resolved that the Reserve Trust grant a temporary licence, under section 108 of the Crown Lands Act for the purpose of an Exhibition, to Canon Australia for a photography workshop on Friday 3 July 2015 on Crown Reserve 82000 (Apex Park). (Spooner/Ibrahim) The amendment was put to the vote and declared carried. Crs Dey and Cameron voted against the amendment. The amendment upon becoming the substantive motion was put to the vote and declared carried. Crs Dey and Cameron voted against the motion.

Staff Reports - Infrastructure Services

	Report No. 4.2             Middleton Street between Bay Street and Lawson Street File No:                        I2015/414
15-292	Resolved that Council, as the Reserve Trust Manager of Byron Bay (R82000) Reserve Trust, confirm its support to reconstruct Middleton Street and the Middleton Street Car Park and Council allocate $165,000 from the Crown Paid Parking Reserve for the works in the 2015/16 budget. (Richardson/Cubis) The motion was put to the vote and declared carried.
