Cr Ndiaye (Chair) opened the meeting at 5.02pm and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on Bundjalung Country.

 

Ashley Moran offered a Welcome to Country.

There were no declarations of interest.

 

Adoption of Minutes from Previous Meetings

 

The minutes of the Arakwal Memorandum of Understanding Advisory Committee Meeting held on 1 November 2018 were noted.

 

The Committee members who were present at the meeting held on 1 November are no longer on this Committee, so current Committee is unable to adopt these minutes.

 

Note: The minutes of the meeting held on 1 November 2018 were noted, and the Committee Recommendations adopted by Council, at the Ordinary Meeting held on 13 December 2018.

 

Business Arising from Previous Minutes

 

There was no business arising from previous minutes.

Report No. 4.1             Arakwal MoU Implementation Plan 2019-2021

Committee Recommendation:

1.       That the Arakwal (MoU) Advisory Committee recommends that Council adopts the Draft 2019-2021 Arakwal MoU Implementation Plan as amended at the meeting (new document E2020/16984).

 

2.       That the Arakwal (MoU) sub committee continues to meet monthly to advance the projects within the implementation plan.                                                                                               (Ndiaye/Kelly)

 

The recommendation was put to the vote and declared carried.
