Cr M Lyon (Chair) opened the meeting at 2:05 pm and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on Bundjalung Country.

Item discussed: The Drainage Union Committee Recommendation: 1. That the Coastal Estuary Catchment Panel note the items listed for discussion.
2. The Committee noted that Belongil Swamp Drainage Union has been reinstated and the Panel members Tony Flick and Tim Hochgrebe are on the board. 3. It is noted that there is ongoing discussion between the Union and Council staff to assist in progressing the function of the Union. (Hackett / Lambourne) The recommendation was put to the vote and declared carried. |
Note:
1. The word ‘possible’ should be removed from line 23 in the Agenda, due to the fact that reinstatement of the Belongil Swamp Drainage Union has already happened. Noted by: Tim Hochgrebe on 21 September 2017.
2. Original items 1:The State of Water Re-Use and 2: Recycled Water Pricing to be placed on the next meeting Agenda as not enough time to discuss.
