Cr Ndiaye (Chair) opened the meeting at 2:06pm and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on Bundjalung Country.

Adoption of Minutes from Previous Meetings

Committee Recommendation:

That the minutes of the Arts and Creative Industries Advisory Committee Meeting held on 20 October 2022 be confirmed. (Balson/Westheimer)

The recommendation was put to the vote and declared carried.

Samantha Moss was not present for the vote..

Note: The minutes of the meeting held on 20 October 2022 were noted, and the Committee Recommendations adopted by Council, at the Ordinary Meeting held on 27 October 2022.

Business Arising from Previous Minutes

There was no business arising from previous minutes.

Samantha Moss joined the meeting at 2:31pm and left meeting at 3:11pm.

Jane Fuller left the meeting at 3:54pm.

Lou Hodgson left the meeting at 3:57pm.

Michael Campbell joined the meeting at 4:00pm.

Staff Reports - Sustainable Environment and Economy

Report No. 4.1 Events Strategy - Initial engagement

Committee Recommendation:

1. The Arts and Creative Industry Advisory Committee notes the report and supports the development of the Events Strategy.

2. The Arts and Creative Industry Advisory Committee puts forward any additional stakeholders they would like to be considered for further consultation during the Events Strategy development. (Westheimer/Napier)

The recommendation was put to the vote and declared carried.

Jane Fuller, Lou Hodgson and Samantha Moss were was absent for the vote..

There being no further business the meeting concluded at 4:05pm.
