Cr Ndiaye (Chair) opened the meeting at 4:35 and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on Bundjalung Country.

Declarations of Interest – Pecuniary and Non-Pecuniary

Madeleine Green declared a non-pecuniary interest in Report 6.1. The nature of the interest being that they reside within 2 kilometres of the Resource Recovery Centre. Madeleine Green elected to remain in the Meeting and will participate in discussion and the vote.

Committee Recommendation:

Committee Recommendation:

That the Climate Change and Resource Recovery Advisory Committee:

1. Nominate Cr Hauge to be the Chair of the working group and enable Cr Hauge to work with staff to invite representatives from Zero Emissions Byron, Bayside Community Group, Electrify 2479-83, Plan C, CHUBS, Essential Energy.

2. Note that meeting frequency and locations to be determined at the first meeting.
