Cr Ndiaye (Chair) opened the meeting at 4:39pm and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on Bundjalung Country.

Committee Recommendation:

That the minutes of the Public Art Panel Meeting held on 19 August 2021 be confirmed.

Business Arising from Previous Minutes

An update was provided on the Tennyson Street Utility Block Project, including confirmation of the proposed art work design.

An update was provided on the 2021 Brunswick Nature Sculpture Walk.

Report No. 4.1           Creative Mullumbimby Update October 2021

Committee Recommendation:

That the Public Art Panel recommends that Council provides funding of $1,000 for the installation of Emma Allen’s work ‘Imagine’ by Creative Mullumbimby over three months of Summer 2021.

That the Public Art Panel supports the developer contribution to Council outlined in the Voluntary Planning Agreement.
